BERG trampoline parts we stock

Jumping mats

Round, oval and rectangular, for every BERG size. Mats are matched to the number of springs, so the V-ring count has to be right.

Replace the mat when: there are visible tears or holes, it sags and no longer bounces properly, the material looks faded or brittle from UV, or the V-rings are damaged.

Safety nets

Complete assemblies with poles, or the net alone if your poles are still sound. Available for Comfort, Deluxe and Deluxe XL.

Replace the net when: there are tears in the mesh, the material has gone brittle or discoloured, the entrance system has failed, or poles are bent.

Important: nets are model-specific. Favorit, Champion and Elite have different pole heights and configurations, so a Champion net won't fit a Favorit frame.

Springs

Sold in packs, or as complete sets for a full replacement. BERG replacement springs come in SoloSpring for the Favorit range and TwinSpring for Champion and Elite — they aren't interchangeable.

Replace springs when: they show rust or squeak, they've stretched so the coils no longer sit closed, or the bounce has gone flat.

How to tell: unhook a spring and lay it flat. If the coils don't sit closed against each other, it's stretched and it isn't coming back.

Padding

Complete frame padding sets for round, oval and rectangular models.

Range	Thickness	Width
Favorit	20mm	38cm
Champion	30mm	38cm
Elite	30mm, enhanced UV treatment	38cm

Replace padding when: the foam has compressed or hardened, the PVC has cracked or split, or it holds water rather than shedding it.

Poles and foam sleeves

Individual poles for a bent or damaged one, or complete sets. Foam sleeves separately — they perish faster than the poles they cover.

Anchors and frame components

Ground anchors, anchor kits with straps, T-joints, leg caps and bolt sets. Ring us for frame sections.

Also worth having: a spring puller tool, which turns the longest part of any mat or spring job into the quickest, and a repair kit for small tears before they run.

How to work out which part you need

1. Find your model

There's a label on the frame showing the BERG model. Failing that, check your original paperwork, or measure the frame and tell us the colour of the padding — we can usually work it out from that.

2. Measure the trampoline

Round: measure the diameter, outside edge to outside edge. BERG's round sizes are 200, 270, 330, 380 and 430cm.

Oval and rectangular: measure length and width. Common BERG sizes are 350 × 250, 470 × 310 and 520 × 345cm oval; 280 × 190, 330 × 220, 410 × 250 and 500 × 300cm rectangular.

3. Count the springs

For a mat, the V-ring count must match your spring count exactly. BERG configurations run from 36 springs on the smallest Favorit to 144 on the largest oval.

4. Ring us to confirm

Free service, and it saves ordering the wrong thing. Call 01 960 1641 with your model, size and spring count, or email photos — we'll confirm the exact part and check stock.

Genuine BERG parts or generic?

Generic parts of roughly the right size will physically fit, and they'll feel wrong.

The fit is the issue. BERG mats are made to an exact V-ring count and spring length for each model. A generic mat with the wrong count leaves gaps or over-tensions the springs. A generic net with the wrong pole height leaves a gap at the mat edge — which is the one place the net exists to cover.

And it may affect your warranty. Fitting non-BERG components can invalidate cover that still has years to run — worth checking before buying cheaper elsewhere, particularly on a trampoline under ten years old.

BERG parts are also matched to the mat tension and frame geometry of each range, which is what produces the bounce you paid for.

Parts by range

Favorit — SoloSpring springs, AirFlow mat, 20mm padding, Comfort net. The entry range, and its parts cost less than the equivalent Champion or Elite.

Champion — TwinSpring springs, AirFlow Pro mat, 30mm padding, Deluxe or Deluxe XL net. Ireland's best-selling range, so these are the parts we move most of.

Elite — same springs and mat as Champion, 30mm padding with enhanced UV treatment, heavier frame.

InGround and FlatGround — mats, springs and padding are the same as the equivalent above-ground model. The frame components differ.

When to replace what

Typical intervals in Irish weather. Heavy use, coastal exposure or a wet site will shorten them; a sheltered garden will extend them.

Part	Typical life	Warranty
Jumping mat	5-8 years	2 years
Safety net	5-7 years	2 years
Frame padding	6-10 years	2 years (5 on Elite)
Pole foam sleeves	4-6 years	2 years
Springs	8-12 years	2 years Favorit, 5 years Champion and Elite
Frame	The life of the trampoline	8 years Favorit, 13 Champion and Elite, with registration

That's the case for buying a BERG in the first place: the frame outlasts the children, and everything that wears is replaceable.

Fitting the parts yourself

Most people do, and most of it is straightforward.

Easy, no special tools: frame padding, pole foam sleeves, ground anchors. Half an hour for padding.

Moderate, two people helpful: safety nets, jumping mats, springs. A spring puller makes a real difference on the last two — allow one to two hours for a net, longer for a mat and springs.

Work opposite pairs when fitting springs rather than round the circle, so the mat stays centred and the tension stays even.

Ring us mid-job if you get stuck. We'd rather that than you forcing something.

After a storm

Irish winters are hard on trampolines, and the parts that go are predictable: nets torn by wind, poles bent by impact, padding damaged if it was already old.

Frame damage is rare on a BERG — the frames are substantial and the failures happen elsewhere first.

Before the storm season: fit ground anchors if you haven't, check the parts that are already worn, and take the net off if a severe warning is issued. The net is what catches the wind.

After: check the net for tears, the poles for bends, the frame for movement, and test the bounce. Ring us with what you find.

Worth knowing: storm damage to an unanchored trampoline isn't covered by the BERG warranty.

Common questions

How do I know which size jumping mat I need?

Three ways: the label on your frame shows the model and size; measure the frame outside edge to outside edge; or count your springs, since the V-ring count on the mat must match exactly. Ring us on 01 960 1641 if you're unsure.

Can I use non-BERG parts on a BERG trampoline?

They'll physically fit and they'll feel wrong — the mat tension and spring geometry are matched to each range. Fitting non-BERG components may also affect any remaining warranty, which matters on a newer trampoline.

How long does delivery take?

In-stock parts dispatch within 48 to 72 hours across Ireland and Northern Ireland. Special orders take 7 to 14 days. Parts for discontinued models take longer, as we source them from BERG Netherlands.

Do you have parts for discontinued BERG models?

Usually. We hold stock for older models and can source from BERG Netherlands for most discontinued ones. Ring us with the exact model name or number and we'll check.

Can I replace just a few springs?

You can, and for a single broken spring on a newer trampoline that's fine. If several are rusted or stretched, replace the lot — mixing tired springs with new ones gives an uneven bounce and the new springs take a beating. Replace opposite pairs rather than adjacent ones.

How do I measure spring length?

Unhook one spring and measure hook to hook, unstretched. Or just tell us your model and size and we'll confirm the right spring.

Will Champion parts fit a Favorit?

Some might, most won't. Mats may interchange if the size and spring count match, and springs may if the length matches. Nets, poles and padding don't — the pole heights and padding thicknesses differ between ranges. Ring us before ordering.

Can I get parts if I bought my trampoline elsewhere?

Yes. We supply BERG parts to any BERG owner in Ireland or the UK regardless of where the trampoline came from. We just need the model, the size and which part you need.

Do replacement parts come with a warranty?

Yes — genuine BERG replacement parts carry a 2-year manufacturer's warranty covering manufacturing defects, not wear or misuse.

Is it worth replacing parts or buying new?

If the frame is solid — no significant rust, no damage — replacing the mat, net and springs gives you essentially a new trampoline for a fraction of the cost. If the frame is rusted through or the trampoline is fifteen years old and needs everything, new makes more sense. Ring us and describe it; we'll give you an honest answer either way.

Can you fit the parts for me?

We don't carry out installations ourselves, but we work with experienced installers across Ireland and can put you in touch with someone local. We'll also talk you through it on the phone if you'd rather have a go.
