BERG Replacement Springs — 10 Pack
Genuine BERG replacement springs, in packs of ten. Springs are a wear part on any trampoline: they stretch, lose tension and eventually break, and replacing them restores the bounce rather than costing you a new trampoline.
Which springs do you need?
BERG uses different spring systems across the ranges, and they aren't interchangeable:
| Your trampoline | Spring type |
|---|---|
| BERG Favorit | SoloSpring |
| BERG Champion | TwinSpring |
| BERG Elite | TwinSpring |
Spring length also varies with trampoline size, so tell us your model and diameter when ordering — or measure an existing spring end to end with the hooks included, and we'll match it.
Not sure which range you have? The model name is usually on a label on the frame. Ring us with the size and the colour of the padding and we can generally work it out.
How many should you replace?
More than you think, usually.
One or two broken springs: replace those, and replace the ones directly opposite as well. An uneven spring ring pulls the mat off-centre and puts extra load on its neighbours, which is how one broken spring becomes four.
Several stretched or rusted: replace the lot. Mixing tired springs with new ones gives an uneven bounce and the new springs take a beating. A full set is more expensive up front and cheaper over the life of the trampoline.
How to tell a spring is done: unhook it and lay it flat. If the coils no longer sit closed against each other, it's stretched and it isn't coming back.
Fitting them
Use a spring puller tool. Fitting trampoline springs by hand is hard on the fingers and a good way to take a spring in the face — the puller gives you leverage and control, and it costs a fraction of a set of springs.
Work opposite pairs rather than round the circle, so the mat stays centred and the tension stays even as you go.
Why genuine BERG springs
Generic springs of roughly the right length will physically fit, and they'll feel wrong. BERG's TwinSpring and SoloSpring systems are matched to the mat tension and frame geometry of each range — that's what produces the bounce you paid for.
Fitting non-BERG springs may also affect your frame warranty. Worth checking before you buy cheaper ones online.
Other wear parts
If the springs have gone, it's worth looking at the rest while you're there. Mats, nets, padding and net bungees are all replaceable — see the full BERG replacement parts range.
Small tears in the mat are worth catching early too. A repair kit costs a fraction of a replacement mat and takes twenty minutes.
