BERG Pro Bouncer Trampolines

The trampoline for athletes. The Pro Bouncer sits at the top of BERG's range, built for gymnasts, freestyle jumpers and anyone who wants height and hang time rather than a garden bouncer.

What's actually different

TwinSpring Pro springs

This is the one nothing else in the BERG range has. TwinSpring Pro springs have more coils and are longer than the TwinSpring used on Champion and Elite, arranged in the same V configuration. Longer springs travel further, which means more time in the air — and time in the air is what tricks are made of.

Super strong frame, double coated

A heavier frame than anything else BERG makes, with a double coating rather than a single one. It has to be: an athlete landing from height puts load through a frame that a child bouncing never will.

Extra-thick protective edge

Thicker padding than the standard ranges, in UV-resistant material. The reasoning is the same — higher jumps mean harder landings, including the ones that don't go to plan.

Safety Net Deluxe XL as standard

210cm rather than the 180cm Deluxe. On a trampoline built for height that isn't an upgrade, it's a requirement.

AirFlow Pro jumping mat

Perforated to let 150% more air through than a standard mat, so it doesn't fight you on the way down. Worth being straight about: the Champion and Elite ranges use the AirFlow Pro mat too. It's excellent, but it isn't what makes the Pro Bouncer different.

Above-ground models always come with the Deluxe XL safety net. FlatGround is available with the net or without — BERG calls the netless version SPORTS.

The 16 × 16ft square is the largest trampoline BERG makes. A square gives the same run in every direction, which a rectangle can't — for a gymnast working on rotation and transitions, that's the point of it.

The AeroWall 2x2 is a padded stunt wall fitted at one end. You bounce off it, run up it, and use it to set up tricks a flat mat can't.

The honest version: the difference between Champion and Pro Bouncer is the springs, the frame and the padding — not the mat. If you're buying for family use in a garden, Champion gives you a superb bounce for considerably less, and Elite adds a 5-year padding warranty. The Pro Bouncer earns its price for someone training rather than playing.

Is it right for you?

Yes, if you:

• Are a gymnast, freestyle jumper or athlete, or are buying for one
• Want maximum height and hang time for tricks
• Have 9m × 7m of flat clear ground
• Want the longest springs and heaviest frame BERG makes

Probably not, if you:

• Are buying for recreational family use — Champion or Elite is better value
• Want a round or oval trampoline — there's no round Pro Bouncer
• Have young children as the main users. More power means less margin for error, and this is the most powerful trampoline BERG makes.
• Have less than 9m × 7m of clear ground

Above ground or FlatGround?

Regular (above ground) — quicker to set up, no excavation, and it can be relocated. It must be anchored: a rectangular frame this size catches a lot of wind.

FlatGround — sunk flush with the lawn, so there's no visible frame and nothing for the wind to catch. A metre-deep pit the full 500 × 300cm, which is around 10 cubic metres of soil.

We don't carry out installations ourselves, but we work with experienced installers across Ireland. Tell us your county when you order and we'll put you in touch with someone local.

The Pro Bouncer's frame and test weight make it the range we'd point at for a gymnastics club, a school, or anywhere with heavier use than a family garden.

Common questions

What makes the Pro Bouncer different from the Elite?

TwinSpring Pro springs — more coils and longer than the TwinSpring on Elite — plus a heavier double-coated frame and thicker padding. The jumping mat is the same AirFlow Pro on both.

Is there a round Pro Bouncer?

No. The Pro Bouncer comes as a 16 × 10ft rectangle or a 16 × 16ft square. For a round or oval premium BERG, look at Champion or Elite.

What weight does it hold?

120kg per user, with a test weight of at least 600kg. One jumper at a time, as on any trampoline — more so here, because the bounce is more powerful.

Is it suitable for young children?

It's built for advanced jumpers. For a family garden with young children, Champion or Favorit is the better and safer buy.

What's the warranty?

13 years on the frame with product registration, 10 without. Registration is free and takes five minutes. Claims are handled by us here in Ireland with genuine BERG parts.

Do I need to anchor it?

Above ground, yes, without exception — and storm damage to an unanchored trampoline isn't covered by the warranty. FlatGround needs no anchoring; the pit holds the frame.
