A 14ft trampoline measures 427cm across — the biggest standard size you can buy for a home garden, and 36% more jumping area than a 12ft. It suits big families, teenagers who want room for proper tricks, and adults who'll actually use it.

Will it fit your garden?

This is the question to settle before anything else. A 14ft needs 2m of clearance all round, which means:

• Absolute minimum: 8.5m × 8.5m
• Comfortable: 11m × 13m
• Ideal: 12m × 15m, where it becomes a feature rather than the whole garden

Measure before you order. A 14ft in a garden that can't take it is the one size mistake that can't be worked around, and it's why we'd rather talk you into a 12ft than sell you the wrong thing. Send us your dimensions and we'll tell you straight.

14ft or 12ft?

Go 14ft if the garden takes it easily, you have four or more children, teenagers want room for tricks, or adults will use it regularly. Stay with 12ft if your garden is 10m × 12m or smaller — it still feels enormous to a child, and it fits far more Irish gardens.

Above ground or sunken?

At 14ft this matters more than at any other size. Above ground, the frame stands 90cm tall and 427cm wide, which is a substantial structure in any garden.

Safety and use

Weight capacity runs 200-300kg depending on model. Realistically that's four or more children supervised, or two to three teenagers or adults. Optimal age range is 8 to 16 and up — younger children can get a bit lost in this much space, and a 10ft often serves them better.

One jumper at a time is still the safest rule, however much room there is.

Assembly

Allow a full day and two or three adults — the components are heavy at this size and it isn't a solo job. Frame life is 15-20 years, with mats, nets and padding typically 5-12 years depending on exposure. We can also put you in touch with installers across Ireland if you'd rather not do it yourself.
