The 10ft trampoline is Ireland's most versatile size — big enough for children aged 5 to 12 to get a proper bounce and enjoy with friends, but compact enough to fit comfortably in a typical Irish suburban garden. If you're unsure which size to go for, a 10ft is the right starting point for most families.
We stock BERG and Springfree 10ft models with free delivery on orders over €300 across all 32 counties, usually within 48 hours. As Ireland's official BERG Premium Dealer and sole Springfree stockist since 2020, we can help you choose the right model for your garden and budget.

Is a 10ft trampoline right for your family?
A 10ft suits you if:
- Your children are aged roughly 5-12
- Your garden has at least 7m × 7m of clear space, including 2m clearance around the frame
- You want the best-value family size
- One or two children will use it regularly
Go bigger if: you have three or more children using it regularly, they're older teenagers, or your garden has room to spare. See 12ft or 14ft.
Go smaller if: your clear space is under 7m × 7m. See 8ft or 9ft.
BERG 10ft trampolines — what to know
BERG's round range doesn't include an exact 10ft model. Their nearest sizes are 270cm (approx 9ft) and 330cm (approx 11ft), and both sit either side of the 10ft bracket.
- BERG Favorit 270cm — suits smaller gardens and younger children, roughly ages 4-10. A little more compact than a traditional 10ft, with full BERG quality and bounce.
- BERG Champion 330cm — Ireland's most popular BERG size, suiting ages 6-14 and fitting most Irish suburban gardens. This is what we recommend when families ask for a 10ft BERG.
Both come as above-ground, inground or flatground installations, across the Favorit, Champion and Elite ranges.
Springfree 10ft trampolines
Springfree's 10ft equivalent is the Medium Round (R79), one of their most popular models here. No metal springs and a hidden frame make it the choice for safety-first families. Because the mat extends to the edges without spring padding, the usable jumping surface is closer to a 12ft spring trampoline than a 10ft one.
As Ireland's only Springfree stockist, we carry the full Springfree range.
How much space do you need?
A 10ft frame is approximately 305cm across. Add 2 metres of clear space on every side and you need roughly 7m × 7m in total. That fits comfortably in most Irish suburban semi-detached gardens.
Measure your flattest clear area rather than the garden as a whole — clearance matters most where there's a fence, shed, washing line or oil tank in range. If you're under 7m × 7m, an 8ft is the better fit.
Frequently asked questions
What is the weight limit on a 10ft trampoline?
It varies by brand and model. BERG 10ft-equivalent models typically support 100-120kg. The Springfree R79 supports up to 150kg. Budget trampolines in this size often sit lower, at 75-100kg. Check the specific model if weight capacity matters to you — it's listed on every product page.
How many children can use a 10ft trampoline at once?
One at a time is the safest approach and the recommendation of every major manufacturer. In practice two children of similar size can use a 10ft together under close supervision, but collision risk rises sharply with more than one jumper, and the mismatch matters more than the number — a heavier child transfers energy to a lighter one.
Should I buy a BERG or a Springfree?
Both are premium brands with strong safety records. BERG gives you more shape and installation options and is generally better value for the size. Springfree has no metal springs, a hidden frame and a 10-year warranty covering all components, which is why safety-first families tend to choose it. If you're torn, ring us — the answer usually comes down to budget and whether you want an inground option.
Do 10ft trampolines need anchoring in Ireland?
Yes. Anchoring is strongly recommended for every above-ground trampoline here regardless of size — Atlantic weather and named storms will move a well-built trampoline. An anchor kit takes about 20 minutes to fit. On grass, ground anchors screw straight in. On patio, concrete or gravel you'll need a different approach, so tell us your surface and we'll send the right kit.
What's the difference between a BERG and a budget 10ft?
Materials, bounce quality, warranty and lifespan. A budget trampoline typically needs replacing in three to five years; a BERG frame carries a 13-year warranty and the mat and net are replaceable rather than disposable. Over ten years the cheaper option usually costs more.
