BERG trampoline user weight limits range from 50kg on the smallest 200cm Favorit to 120kg on the larger models. The limit depends on the size and the range, not on the shape — and it's a per-jumper figure, not a total.
Below is every BERG model we sell with its maximum user weight and tested load, taken from BERG's own specifications.
What the two figures mean
Maximum user weight is the heaviest single person who should use the trampoline. It's the number that matters for deciding whether a model suits your family.
Test weight is the static load BERG tests the frame to — typically five times the user weight. It exists to show the frame has a large margin, not as a licence to put several people on the mat at once.
One jumper at a time is the rule regardless. Most trampoline injuries happen with several people on the mat, because a heavier jumper transfers energy into a lighter one at exactly the wrong moment. The weight limit is about the trampoline; the one-at-a-time rule is about the people.

Note the 200cm at 50kg. That's roughly an eight-year-old. It's a genuine toddler trampoline and a child will outgrow it, which is worth knowing before you buy it for a six-year-old.

Choosing by weight rather than by size
Most people pick a trampoline by garden space and the ages of the children. If there's an adult or a big teenager in the house, it's worth working the other way round:

Above 120kg, BERG doesn't rate any of its residential range. That's a hard limit rather than a cautious one — exceeding it stresses the mat and springs in a way the warranty won't cover.
Common questions
Is the weight limit per person or in total?
Per person. The test weight — 250kg to 600kg depending on model — is a static load the frame is tested to, not a permitted total for several jumpers.
What happens if someone heavier uses it?
Nothing dramatic on a single bounce. Repeatedly, it stretches springs and stresses the mat's stitching, and damage caused by exceeding the rated weight isn't covered by the warranty. If someone in the house is near the limit, size up.
Why does the Champion 380 take 100kg when the Favorit 380 takes 110kg?
That's BERG's own published figure and it surprises most people. If it matters to your decision, ring us and we'll check the current specification with BERG before you order.
Can two children use it together?
One at a time is the safe rule on any trampoline, whatever the weight limit says. Most injuries involve multiple jumpers, and a size difference makes it worse rather than better.
Does the shape change the weight limit?
Not directly — size does. A 410 × 250cm rectangular takes 120kg while a 330cm round takes 100kg, because it's a bigger trampoline with more springs, not because it's rectangular.
What about adults using it for fitness?
Fine up to the rated limit. If it's mainly for adult fitness rather than children, a rebounder is the better tool — 110cm, indoors, and built for the job.
