The Swing Set is the simplest and the most used. Swinging is the thing children come back to every day, long after the novelty of everything else has worn off.

Who it suits

Younger children above all. A three-year-old wants a swing, not a climbing wall, and this set doesn't make you pay for things they'll grow into.

It's also the sensible start if you're spreading the cost. Buy the frame with swings now and add the climbing wall, rings or basketball hoop over the next few birthdays — that's how the PlayBase system is designed to work.

How the frame sizes work

Each frame has a fixed number of carabiner points. Most accessories use two — a swing, gym rings, a trapeze, a nest swing. A few use one, like a boxing bag or a basketball hoop.

Adding to it later

A set is a starting point, not a finished thing. Every PlayBase accessory fits every frame — the only exception across the range is the hammock, which needs the Large.

Add as the children grow, or swap things around when interests change. Taking one accessory off and putting another on is a few minutes' work.
