How to Identify Your Springfree Trampoline Model
Finding Your Serial Number
The serial number is essential for ordering the correct replacement parts. It's in one of three places:
- Frame: a white sticker or gold etching on the central section of the frame
- Net: a small white tag underneath the warning label near the zip entrance
- Mat: a white tag tucked between the net and mat, usually opposite the zip
Understanding Generation Codes (G3 vs G4)
Springfree trampolines come in different generations, which affects parts compatibility:

A. FlexiNet™ (Safety Enclosure Net)
The FlexiNet is the flexible safety enclosure surrounding the jumping area. It cushions jumpers and prevents falls to the ground.
When to Replace:
- Visible holes or tears in the netting material
- Significant fraying or deterioration
- Damaged zip entrance
- UV damage causing brittleness

B. SoftEdge™ Mat (Jumping Surface)
The SoftEdge Mat is the jumping surface, made from UV-stabilised polypropylene. Springfree rates it as 30 times more shock-absorbent than traditional safety pads.
When to Replace:
- Holes or tears in the mat material
- Deterioration of the yellow safety banding
- Frayed stitching around the edges
- Burn holes from magnified sunlight

C. SoftEdge™ Mat Rod Holders
These plastic clips secure the mat rods to the mat. Each mat comes with a complete set, but individual replacements are available.
When to Replace: cracked or broken plastic, mat rods disconnecting from the mat, or missing holders.
D. SoftEdge™ Mat Rods
The flexible composite rods that replace traditional metal springs. They sit beneath the jumping surface, eliminating pinch points.

When to Replace Mat Rods:
- Cracked or fraying rod material
- Broken rods
- Rods disconnected from mat or frame
- Deteriorated sleeves (cracks or flaking)
Mat Rod Sleeve Sets: if only the outer sleeve is damaged, sleeve sets can be bought separately. Sizes: 57cm (short), 62.5cm (medium), 70.2cm (long).

E. FlexiNet™ Enclosure Rods (Net Rods)
These flexible poles support the safety net enclosure. Each consists of a lower and an upper section.

When to Replace Net Rods: broken or cracked poles, deteriorated sleeves, or poles not fully inserted into their pockets.
F. Frame Sections
The galvanised steel frame sits beneath the jumping surface, well out of harm's way. Frame sections are both model-specific and generation-specific.

When to Replace Frame Sections: bent or broken sections, significant rust or corrosion, or storm and accident damage.
G. Trampoline Legs & Centre Posts
The legs provide stability and support for the whole structure. Different models use different leg configurations.

H. Small Components & Hardware
C-Clips. Small white C-shaped clips at the base of the net rod sockets on the frame, locking the FlexiNet poles in place. Sold in packs of 12 and fit all Springfree models. Replace them if any are missing, broken or cracked, or if net poles aren't staying secure.
Bolt Sets. Replacement bolts and nuts for frame assembly. Model-specific, so give us your model number when ordering.
Cleats. Small hardware components used in frame assembly, available individually.

Trampoline Maintenance & Inspection Guide
Regular Inspection Checklist
Worth a look whenever you're out watching the kids bounce or cutting the grass:
- Net: fraying, holes, or deterioration
- Mat: holes, tears, or UV damage
- Yellow banding: stitching and fabric condition
- Frame: paint chips, rust marks, dents
- Rod sleeves: intact and not slipping down
- Net poles: fully inserted into the top pockets
- C-clips: none missing from sockets
- Drain holes: clear and unclogged
Seasonal Care Tips
- Keep the trampoline clear of leaves, sticks, snow and debris
- Remove anything caught between the mat and net
- Don't leave toys or clear balls on the mat — they magnify sunlight and cause burn holes
- Use a weather cover for extended storage or severe weather
- Clear snow with a soft-bristled brush
- Avoid harsh or abrasive cleaning chemicals, which damage the UV protection
