Check both dimensions. The width matters as much as the length — 345cm of frame plus 2m clearance each side means you need 7.5m across, not just the 9.2m run. Our size guide covers measuring properly.
Oval or round?
Not about size — it's about shape. A 14ft round and this oval have almost identical jumping area. What differs is the footprint they need.

Take the oval if your usable garden is a long strip — a metre narrower than the round needs, and nearly a metre more length to bounce along. Take the round if your space is closer to square, the children are younger, or you want more size options. Round comes in five sizes; the Grand comes in one.
Why inground at this size
A 17ft frame standing on legs is a large structure — visually, and as far as the wind is concerned. Sunk into the ground, the mat sits 20cm above the lawn and there's very little for a gale to get hold of. On an exposed or rural site that's the main argument.
It also means no ladder, a short fall if someone leaves the mat, and a trampoline that reads as a garden feature rather than equipment. The trade is that it's permanent. Prefer to keep the option of moving it? See the Grand Favorit Regular.

Green
The classic BERG colour, and the one that disappears into a lawn.

With or without the safety net
Available both ways. With several children using a mat this size, buy it with the oval BERG Comfort Safety Net. The no-net option is for adult or closely supervised use, and a net can be added later if circumstances change.
Installation — the pit is dug to BERG's published dimensions
Worth being straight about: this is the largest pit in the Favorit range. The hole is 480 × 300cm and 80cm deep — about 6.1 cubic metres of soil. Your installer will advise on access and where the soil goes. Note the hole is narrower than the frame: the legs rest on ground at the rim.
Drainage matters. Irish clay doesn't drain freely, and a pit this size without proper drainage becomes a pond after heavy rain.
