The 10ft trampoline is Ireland's most versatile size — big enough for children aged 5 to 12 to get a proper bounce and enjoy with friends, but compact enough to fit comfortably in a typical Irish suburban garden. If you're unsure which size to go for, a 10ft is the right starting point for most families.
We stock BERG and Springfree 10ft models with free delivery across all 32 Irish counties, usually within 48 hours. As Ireland's official BERG Premium Dealer and Springfree stockist since 2020, we can help you choose the right model for your garden and budget.

Is a 10ft Trampoline Right for Your Family?
A 10ft suits you if:
- Your children are aged roughly 5–12
- Your garden has at least 7m x 7m of clear space (including 2m safety clearance around the frame)
- You want the most popular, best-value family size
- You have one or two children using it regularly
Consider going bigger (12ft or 14ft) if:
- You have three or more children who will use it regularly
- Your children are older teenagers
- Your garden has plenty of space and budget isn't the limiting factor

BERG 10ft Trampolines — What to Know
BERG's round trampoline range doesn't include an exact 10ft model — their nearest sizes are the 270cm (approx 9ft) and 330cm (approx 11ft). Both are hugely popular in Ireland and sit either side of the 10ft bracket.
- BERG Favorit 270cm — suits smaller gardens and younger children (ages 4–10). Slightly more compact than a traditional 10ft but with full BERG quality and bounce.
- BERG Champion 330cm — Ireland's most popular BERG size. Suits children aged 6–14 and fits the majority of Irish suburban gardens. This is the model we recommend when families ask for a 10ft BERG.
Both are available as above-ground, inground, or flatground installations across the Favorit, Champion, and Elite ranges.
Springfree 10ft Trampolines
Springfree's 10ft equivalent is the Medium Round (R79) — one of their most popular models in Ireland. With no metal springs and a hidden frame, it's the choice for safety-first families. Because the mat extends to the edges with no spring padding required, the jumping surface on the R79 is equivalent to a 12ft spring trampoline.
As Ireland's sole Springfree stockist, we carry the full Springfree range → with 48hr delivery across all 32 counties.
How Much Space Do You Need for a 10ft Trampoline?
A 10ft (305cm) trampoline has a total frame diameter of approximately 305cm. You need a minimum of 2 metres of clear space around all sides of the frame — so the total area required is approximately 7m x 7m. This fits comfortably in the majority of Irish suburban semi-detached gardens.
If your garden is smaller than this, consider an 8ft or 9ft model instead. Read our trampoline space guide → or our full trampoline size guide for Irish families →
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the weight limit on a 10ft trampoline?
Weight limits vary by brand and model. BERG 10ft-equivalent models typically support 100–120kg. Springfree R79 supports up to 150kg. Budget trampolines in this size often have lower limits of 75–100kg. Always check the specific model before purchasing if weight capacity is a key consideration.
How many children can use a 10ft trampoline at once?
The safest approach is one jumper at a time — this applies to all trampoline sizes and is the recommendation of all major manufacturers. In practice, two children of similar size and age can use a 10ft together under close adult supervision, but the risk of collision increases significantly with multiple users. See our safe occupancy guide →
Should I buy a BERG or Springfree 10ft trampoline?
Both are premium brands with excellent safety records. BERG offers more shape and installation options and is generally better value. Springfree has no metal springs, a hidden frame, and a 10-year all-components warranty — the choice for safety-first families. Read our full BERG vs Springfree comparison →
Do 10ft trampolines need to be anchored in Ireland?
Yes — anchoring is strongly recommended for all above-ground trampolines in Ireland, regardless of size. Atlantic weather and named storms can move even well-built trampolines. Anchor kits attach the frame to the ground and take about 20 minutes to install. See our trampoline anchoring guide → for all surface types.
What's the difference between a 10ft BERG and a 10ft budget trampoline?
A significant amount — materials, bounce quality, warranty, and lifespan. Read our honest breakdown in cheap vs expensive trampolines explained →
