Trampolines Ireland to Launch Ireland's First Fully Assembled Trampoline Drone-Delivery Service

BERG-certified heavy-lift drones will deliver fully assembled, factory-tested trampolines directly to customers' gardens — anywhere on the island of Ireland — with same-day placement and a complimentary bounce-test on arrival.
Trampolines Ireland, Ireland's longest-established BERG products dealership and a trusted family-run business since 2020, today announced the imminent launch of TrampolinesIreland AirDrop™ — a world-first drone delivery service designed to eliminate the inconvenience of flat-pack assembly, delivery delays, and the traditional Irish experience of spending a Bank Holiday weekend in the rain trying to locate a missing spring hook.
Under the new initiative, customers who purchase a qualifying BERG trampoline will have their order professionally assembled at Trampolines Ireland's fulfilment hub, subjected to a full factory-standard bounce test, and then loaded aboard a purpose-built TI AirLifter™ heavy-lift drone for direct airborne delivery to the customer's garden. The drone will lower the fully assembled trampoline to the precise location of the customer's choosing using GPS-guided tether technology, before the crew performs a complimentary inaugural bounce to confirm structural integrity.

The service, developed in close partnership with a consortium of aerospace engineers, avid trampolinists, and at least one former air traffic controller, will initially cover the full Republic of Ireland. Northern Ireland routes — including challenging cross-border GPS recalibration corridors — are expected to be operational shortly after launch. Rural and island routes, including all Aran Islands deliveries, will be handled by the TI AirLifter™ XL, a next-generation platform capable of carrying BERG Grand Elite Oval models in crosswinds of up to 47 km/h.

Customers are advised to clear their garden of furniture, children, and small pets prior to the scheduled delivery window, confirmed by a 15-minute courtesy text from the pilot drone. A dedicated TI AirDrop™ app will allow families to track their trampoline's live flight path in real time — including a feature that lets the whole family wave at the drone camera as it makes its final approach.

All BERG models are available through the AirDrop™ service, with the exception of the BERG PlayBase, which — following early feasibility testing — was deemed "technically deliverable by air but socially inadvisable" in areas with overhead power lines. Go-kart accessories may be included in a separate cargo net on request, subject to wind speed conditions on the day.
